Makes me wish these boards had a sarcasm BBC feature.

Thats odd. None of my windows 10 systems show that feature. It must be an Nvidia RTX thing? I can't confirm that because I have only one system with an Nvidia GTX card. Everything else has AMD cards.

Oh, and just to pour a little more salt on to the wound. EV batteries have a rather short life span. They are made of the same tech as your cell phone battery. After the first year, they begin to degrade. And by the 5th year, charge compacity is cut by more than 1/3rd. There is no warrantee or service plan to cover the replacement of the battery. So the vehicle owner is responsible for replacing it. And get this, more than half of the cost of a new EV today is the cost of the battery alone. Users can expect to pay $15,000 to $25,000 USD to replace a full EV battery. That's not a typo, look it up.

I say go for it. After all, now would be the time since 1.0 is public now (isn't it? I thought it just came out or are those previews people are playing?) for PC.
I already have Cap's approval. He came to look at it last night and appeared to love it. But as of the writing of this post, 1.0 is still in experimental stage. I don't know what PC's official release date is.

So you fixed it?
Yes I did! It works perfectly. And in fact, I was thinking of doing a vanilla game version of the trader market and submit it to nexus mods for public download once 1.0 goes public stable. You rarely see multi trader prefabs, and non this nice. But I am still not happy with the internal layout as it is now. It's all tables and chairs inside. Not much else to fulfill the shopping experience you might expect to see.
I say go for it. After all, now would be the time since 1.0 is public now (isn't it? I thought it just came out or are those previews people are playing?) for PC. The date for CONSOLE is Thursday, July 25, 2024. New POIs with 1.0: - Two Tier 5 POIs
- Grover High School
- Football Stadium
- A Tier 4 Army Camp which may have an underground section
- Haven Hotel
- one of the largest POIs to date, no tier was provided in the dev diaries but players suspect it is possibly the first Tier 6
- Many additional Tier 2 POIs that add more variety to the world
- Wilderness POIs that aren’t connected to roads

I think how they all see it is it is inevitable so let's do it. No thought of hyping it. To them it is already a go!
It certainly seems that way. It's become more evident lately with the push for AI. GPU's with Cuda cores (or any RT hardware support) will already have some AI support. But the next generation of CPU's will have AI accelerators baked in. And MS has already jumped on that bandwagon when they released Co-Pilot for Windows 11.
Ya I already saw the CoPilot Preview Icon in Windows 10 as well by the clock saying Try it out NOW!

I fail to understand why you guys would be excited over the thought that Windows 10 source code got leaked. Can someone please explain?
Sarcasm Jeff. Sarcasm.

As I've been saying all along. The number one thing is that there is nowhere near enough charging station infostructure to support plugin EV's to begin with. The range is poor, even on a good day. 250 miles or 400 kilometers max range is not good when it takes a super-fast charger over an hour to recharge. And a 220-volt home charger will take over 8 hours. Then factor in extreme heat or cold, it will cut that range nearly in half while almost doubling recharge time. And has no one given any thought of the demands it will put on our already overwhelmed electrical grid if even just one twentieth of a nation would adopt an EV?
The cost of these cars is still out of reach for the average household income levels. And I'm not talking statistically either. I'm talking realistically. There are millions of people out there that can't afford to buy a brand-new car. Let alone, properly maintain the old car they may have now.
100% My thoughts as well! It is absolutely rediculous but we already know from the last how many years that the ones calling the shots making all the decisions think everyone can afford what ever they can afford or else we are bums that just do not try hard enough. The figure us "bums" just need a little push and creating dead lines and mandatory regulations they figure will be that push.
