I don't think the epic version can be modded. if you plan to mod it. you might want to wait for a sale elseware.

Wait. How is this guy playing this on a 4060 Ti? He's known to be the budget gamer type. And, that card just got released yesterday.

It's "supposed" to be a budget gaming card. But this one has so many problems.
#1: It has very little, if no generational uplift in raw rasterization over its predecessor. The 3060 Ti.
#2: The price is putting the card into a higher tier level.
#3: It is PCIe 4.0 but only has 8 lanes and lower memory bandwidth compared to last gen.
In all due respect, Nvidea has been screwing themselves over hard with this generation. Sure, the 4090 was a huge hit with anyone who wants the best of the best and doesn't care what it costs. But everything they have put out after that has just been one disappointment after another. The price vs performance just isn't there.

I don't change the small handful of games I play very often. Unless something new really peaks my interest. I'm still waiting for Dead Island 2.

It looks like I will be waiting for the exclusivity period to end and it comes to steam. I don't have, nor am I getting an epic games account.

Hopefully after a year or so most bugs should be worked out so the waiting game might pay off anyway. If I buy it, it would likely be though Steam also.

I was confused about the Epic Store version since it was just released last year which is newer than the versions that I have on Steam.
The same Base game of Saints Row (https://store.steampowered.com/app/742420/Saints_Row/) is on Steam but not free or on sale like it is current only Epic.

For some reason, I can't turn in the game. I don't know why. Looked at the options and there is no setting for it. Can't find anyone else complaining about this so as of now I can't play. I mean I can but not effectively as I can only run straight and cannot look around me while getting shot at.
Okay fixed it. Restarted the game. Think it was confused with a controller which I don't have any.
Also .. perhaps I should not have made my character look like the real me. Customizations are limited so I looked f@%n ugly. You could only edit the head. The body was very minimal and not in dimensions but more of markings only.

Hey what is the best to play Saints Row with Dave on my PC?
- Direct X 12

- Vulkan
When I was playing in DX12 I had issues so now I am playing in DX11 but what is Vulkan?
By the way I ended up redoing the appearance of my character to look still like me kinda but less ugly :P

They are all API's that help with graphics rendering. Your card should support all 3 of them. But if you're running DX12 with high presets, you might want to enable DLSS if the game has it. Otherwise, stick to DX11 and adjust your presets to your likings. Vulkan API was originally designed for AMD cards. Just like FSR. But has since been adopted to work with anything now. You can give Vulkan a try if you're feeling adventurous.
