An update to windows 11 has been on and off the free upgrade list many times now. But even though windows 10 is inching closer and closer to its EOL support which is October 16th, 2025. Microsoft has offered extended security patches for windows 10 past that point for up to 3 additional years. From what I can make out, the first year might cost around $25. then ramps up each additional year.
I wonder if it is because they realize people caught them in a lie when they said Win 10 was the final one and we wouldn't need to worry about things like this anymore?

That sounds about right. Trump first said that he wanted to deport all illegal aliens and lock down our borders. But that wasn't good enough, so he added that these illegal aliens are all violent crime offenders. Selling drugs on our streets and killing beloved pets and so on. Then there was crazy talk in congress about how MAGA Republicans want to deport terminally sick American children. Now things have taken a turn for the worst with extreme racial profiling. Particularly towards the Hispanics as of lately. Notably with statements like, "If you can't speak proper English, you shouldn't be here". It's total chaos here.
Natassia can speak perfect English and depends on the medical system in USA. SO I feel so bad for her. THAT is the best thing for me. Thank you. One of my latest regulars (EMPY) on the 7D2D server asked me how do you make a steam server hot link so he could share it with his friends. Then I remembered that you asked me to put something about the 7D2D server on the server info page. So I just added the hot link for now.

Do people still play NS1? I loved it for so long.
Shockingly, yes. My servers do still get a few players from time to time.
I find that amazing and impressive. I didn't think anyone played any HL1 games anymore.

Support for Windows 10 will end in late October of this year. You can purchase extended support if you want to. But the real question is, will it be worth it?
I thought it was free to upgrade to Win 11. Or do you mean Extended Support for using Win 10 after the end of support date? I know both my computer and my mom's tiny computer have been bugging us when we want to upgrade to Windows 11. I have been saying Later.

I just realized instead of hitting reply in the last post I hit edit. So my post ended up at the end of yours. I found it confusing but knew they were my words to corrected that now. My post reply to your last post was:
Wow I didn't know about any of that! Much worse but even in Canada we Do see it is all about Trump and not what is best for the USA.
Now adding this:
Even Natassia from our old kidney forums says that she is having a hard time with Trump as her nationality is Mexican but has lived in the USA her whole life (I think I have that correct). She feels that Trump is extremely racist and making parts of the country even more racist.
I remember you telling me how Trump was working on removing some Americans, sending them "back home" even when legally in the USA.

Oh. I recently added a hot link to join our 7D2D server in the server info page. All you need to do is make sure that you have steam open, the latest 7D2D patch and our current mods pack installed. Click the link and it will take you straight into our server.
