Well today is Black Friday and yesterday was the American thankgiving. How was yours Jeff?

I went to my sisters as usual, so it wasn't bad.

One of your sisters shared a photo, and you looked the same as usual. Good to see it went well.

The whole time I was there, I was gritting my teeth, just waiting for my sisters to start picking on each other.  Thankfully, they somewhat behaved themselves this time.  At least they waited until after the photo session.  ::)

How come I never realized how you get anxious around family events like I do?

Is this maybe what the "split topic" button is there for?

I try to make the best of it, I really do.  But I'm always at the ready for when it goes south, and the drama starts.  Because in family events, it's inevitable.

Well, my brother who moved out of my mom's into his gf's house and how there was the possibility of Christmas at her place, now has been cancelled. So now I am anxious as my place is the only place Christmas can be for my mom this year.

You are going to have to set some time aside for cleaning if you want that to be a possibility. You have less than 2 weeks, both of us would probably have to devote about 1/2 a day (4-5 hours) for about a week to make a serious effort to get it in the kind of shape your mom wouldn't be critical of. I don't see that happening given the timeline.

Good luck with that.  I know how meticulous KT can be with cleaning.  It's a slow process.
