8 gigs is considered bare minimum for modern gaming in windows 10.  16 gigs would the sweet spot these days.  And if your doing a boat load of browsing with opening 100 tabs at once, 32 to 64 gigs might better suit the needs.  Maybe we can get together with oneeyed, Lets figure out exactly what you have and what your main board can support.  Maybe I can help you out.

What main board?  P8H61-M LE/CSM?  Seems this board only has 2 dimm slots and has a max limit of 16gb of ram.  8gb per slot.  Knowing your tastes, might I suggest these?

Ya P8H61-M LE/CSM  (Motherboard Manual - Page 1-14 for Memory info)

I currently have 2 4gb DDR3 = 8Gb RAM. My Mobo takes Dual-Channel DDR3 2200(O.C.) / 2133 (O.C.) / 2000 (O.C.) / 1866 (O.C.) / 1600 / 1333 / 1066MHz support

Since you have a Intel i5 2400, (non K sku, meaning not overclockable) there will be no need for (O.C.) ram speeds since you won't be able to take advantage of it.  Just stick with the 1600's.
