Ya my mom was annoyed by ads on YouTube on her Samsung TV as I have adblock on her PC and she did not realize just how many ads are apart of YouTube.

I have not yet seen this notice popup. And I hope I never do. Because if I am forced to watch tons of youtube adds, I will most likely stop using youtube.

I find usually if you are using a popup blocker an update comes out soon enough to block that too. But companies are always trying to be on top of detecting blockers.

Do you use the brower built in or an addon? I ask because I can't remember how good MS Edge built in it.

It's a built in popup blocker and a adblock written for a very early version of edge. It still works though. For FF, they are both addons. But I find the simpler ones work best.

True. I have no issue with Edge. The MSN weather opens up in Edge no matter what your default browser is. www.msn.com/en-ca/weather/forecast/in-Windsor,Ontario

You probably need to set your default home page. I have mine set to google.com.

I never keep my default home page as default in any browser.

What I was talking about with the Weather is something that comes with Windows 10 where you right clicking your task bar and click News and Interests and it shows up the weather. I took sports out and a lot of other news out as I only wanted weather but it seems it still likes to creep in news of various types on the pop up. I mainly use that just to glance at the weather quickly on my task bar. Right now at 7:49 AM it says it is 62°F.
