My cousin Kevin decided to buy a new car (he has LOTS of money want wanted a powerful car which he figured electric would not be). He bought a 2023 Scatpack with a HEMI in all black. Reason being is he wanted to get a car that would last him a long time before everyone is forced to electric. He said this car won't be able to be bought later so he bought it now.

Here goes another big issue.  But not surprising.

Of course.  Health and life in general always come first.  It sounds like you are really having a rough go but I hope you get to feeling better soon KT.

Ya that makes sense. That is why "Just enough" is not good with the speed of how fast tech grows and old computer components become obsolete.

Exactly!  Back in the day, many, if not all computer cases had several drive bays in the front of the case.  This gave users the option for countless storage options.  Floppy drives.  Tape drives.  Optical drives.  Of course, hard drives.  And just about anything else that you could fit in those easy access front drive bays.  But back then, CPU's and GPU's didn't require much power and didn't put off anywhere near as much heat as they do today.  A lot of those cases did have some air flow options in the front of the case.  But were limited and restricted by those front drive bays and restrictive front covers.  But now, high air flow is becoming ever more important to help cool higher and higher wattage components.  We are at a point now where massive heat syncs or water cooling are a necessity if you want to get every last drop of performance from your computer.  Floppy, tape and optical drives or a thing of the past for PC's for many good reasons.  And HDD's are going the same route.  They are heavy, take up a lot of space, are fragile and are way too slow to keep up with modern tech.

There were even a number of cases over the decades that had side intake.  At first, it was to help cool the CPU.  But later, when CPU's got relocated to near the top of the mainboard, the side intake had benefits to cooling the GPU.  And sometimes more than just one.  But now, GPU coolers have grown so large that side intakes have become pointless.  Mainly because there is not enough room for the GPU and side intake fan.  And the fan shroud on most modern GPU's won't benefit much from side intakes anyway.  Unless the GPU is vertically mounted in the case.  So, my recommendation when shopping for a new case.  Don't focus so much on legacy hardware that you may still have.  Think more about where the technology is heading and what can suit your needs now.  I will be very happy to help you pick out something.

If it does continue I hope it does not change the feel of it

Well, DBS has already started to change the feel of the experience.  In DB and DBZ, Goku just wanted to train to get stronger and had many crazy adventures along the way.  Always the hero and didn't boast much about his power.  DBGT mostly sucked.  The only thing cool about GT was SSJ4.  But in DBS, Goku constantly wanted to test his might against incredibly strong opponents.  Practically picking fights with almost anyone that could give him a fight.  Where yes, the highlights are the dramatic fights.  I won't argue with that.  But anyone that has watched the entire series all the way through, will notice the change in Goku's overall personality.

I can't imagine full EV working in upper areas of Canada and imagine it will either be a dual system (which won't save money so might as well stick with current gas cars) or full gas.

That's why I was saying that gas / electric hybrids are the best of both worlds.  But there is a catch to this as there are 2 types.

"Plug-in electric hybrid" which you can charge like a full EV but has a gas engine.  In a lot of cases, this gas engine is just a on board generator.  A range extender if you will.  Where others, gas and electric can work together to boost overall horsepower.

"Conventional gasoline / electric hybrid" is a gas-powered car with electric assist.  A much smaller battery is used in these cars.  But it's main purpose is to help provide better fuel economy.  And in cars like the Toyota Prius, that range assist is substantial.

But just like their fully electric counterparts, the plug-in hybrids also have the same electric heating and cooling systems.  Where the regular hybrids have a much smaller battery and don't require the same level of temperature maintenance.  They are usually just cooled by fans.

Been eager to see you pop in, have a look around and get creative.

I ended up hospitalized Thursday and Friday. They have cancelled my last chemo because of bleeding, the rash on my hands and my red nailbeds. The bleeding out of my butt caught their attention even though once admitted the hospital doc just said it is probably just hemorrhoids and never even made sure so the scope was cancelled and my stay a waste of time. It is good to be home but now that chemo is done (early) and a heart Echo and a breast ultrasound and the tumor lumpectomy coming up very soon I am hoping to get feeling back in my fingers and jump in to play finally. :) Health and life come first before game and pleasure.

Finding games that don't require a lot of attention but are good enough to keep playing to kill some time are rare.

Ya sometimes fidget toys are better.

Well that is the ultimate goal.  Finding a case that has the aesthetics and features to satisfy your tastes and needs respectively.  AND is future upgrade ready to take on whatever hardware you might be able to get your hands on.  Because if you think about it.  Most people tend to stick with the same case and PSU for a couple of major upgrades.  You will eventually replace them when they break or when they no longer support the new hardware you plan to get.

Ya that makes sense. That is why "Just enough" is not good with the speed of how fast tech grows and old computer components become obsolete.

It is unknown at this point.  Akira Toriyama was the lead in DBS, but had a team of talent doing the bulk of the work.  So, who knows if we will ever see any more official content again.  I certainly hope we do.  The man and legend maybe gone.  But his work lives on in the hearts and creative minds of his fans.

If it does continue I hope it does not change the feel of it
