I'm just gonna stop by and drop a few quick pics to blow everyone's minds.

Nice!!

It seems that everyone is trying to get in on the AI wave.  It's all greed and no compassion for its user base.

Definitely. Now even some of the AI image generators (done by text prompts) you can even remove any hint of artists signature of stolen artwork, and voices can be duplicated to make full videos of you saying things you never said based solely on an image of you from social media and you just say hello on the phone when someone calls you and hangs up.

One Eyed called me recently saying that he has made a USA installer for a version of Windows 11 without all the AI bloat.

So, what is stopping you from creating a live boot media and taking it for a test drive?

You are right, and I DO know how to do that. Just hard to sit at the moment given my current health situation and also busy with funerals and sick family, bla bla bla and procrastination as I have so much to do before the start of this cancer treatment after the surgery. I think after the 17th things will get even more busy so you are right. I should do it now. My mom has been successful at making things real busy for me as it seems she can't do anything without me anymore. (Doesn't even know how to plug in her headphones ... and this is the woman who used to know how to burn her own music CD's....)  :duh: :duh: :duh:  ::)

Agreed.  But for the most part, Linux has a very steep learning curve.  Windows is built for dummies.

Darn .. my mom needs the "Dummy version".....

Any ideas?

Take a look at what's going on in China right now.  Are you scared?  You should be.

At the time of this post, the 7d2d server has been updated to v2.5 (b27), which is current.  I have updated all the mods to support all the new changes and even fixed just about every buggy mod we had.  Including the hyper fast workstations that show negative crafting time when certain conditions are met.  Wrote a few new mods and even started figuring out proper progression systems.  I did a ton of work on the server getting it better than ever.  There is a few new POI's since moving to v2.0.  Including a brand new multi trader base that I made and published on Nexusmods.com called Trader Cafe.  Trader Mechanic now has every vehicle that you can purchase and craft in our server on display.  Including boats, lawn tractors and a Star Wars speeder bike to go with a devastating light saber that you can craft or purchase from a trader.

Ya I guess for people who want to play it again for nostalgia

That pretty much sums it up for those of us that have played it long ago.

Well, after a great run, I am retiring the RX 6900 XT.  I've finally updated my graphics card.

This is my now old card.  PowerColor Radeon RX 6900 XT Liquid Devil.  It still works great.  But the drivers are going legacy for it.

And this is what I have updated to.  PowerColor Radeon RX 9070 XT Red Devil.  Note:  This card at purchase was $759.

They don't have a liquid devil for this generation, and I need to be water cooled, so I wound up getting this water block.  Alphacool Core RX 9070 XT Red Devil with Backplate.  Note:  This water block at purchase from NewEgg was $250.  They recently removed it from their store.
