Ya I guess for people who want to play it again for nostalgia

That pretty much sums it up for those of us that have played it long ago.

Well, after a great run, I am retiring the RX 6900 XT.  I've finally updated my graphics card.

This is my now old card.  PowerColor Radeon RX 6900 XT Liquid Devil.  It still works great.  But the drivers are going legacy for it.

And this is what I have updated to.  PowerColor Radeon RX 9070 XT Red Devil.  Note:  This card at purchase was $759.

They don't have a liquid devil for this generation, and I need to be water cooled, so I wound up getting this water block.  Alphacool Core RX 9070 XT Red Devil with Backplate.  Note:  This water block at purchase from NewEgg was $250.  They recently removed it from their store.

So, what is stopping you from creating a live boot media and taking it for a test drive?

Agreed.  But for the most part, Linux has a very steep learning curve.  Windows is built for dummies.

I did install some games to the SSD anyway for speed. I mean, it is my computer after all and games today need the speed. One day I will upgrade more drives to faster, faster than SSD even. One day.

I haven't had time to do anything on the computer for the last few months. Especially with how the health of my Uncle Joe has been. It has taken up so much time I haven't even had time for a lot of real-life things I need to get done.

So, someone made the old gold source engine run on console.  And made it so console can play with PC.  That's cool, I guess.  Even though it's 20+ years too late.  The games dead.

Not to mention the fact that this game used to run on a literal potato.  A Pentium 200Mhz or equivalent system was recommended.  Now it requires a modern low end gaming system just to run it.

Ya I guess for people who want to play it again for nostalgia
