Yup.  That's all there is to it.

Thank you. I forgot the exact directory.

Windows 10 support officially ended on October 14, 2025, meaning it will no longer receive security updates or technical support from Microsoft. Users are encouraged to upgrade to Windows 11 for continued security and support.

I need to look at that ASAP because today (Tuesday, October 14th 2025) is the expiry of Windows 10 and my mom has been worried thinking her computer would just not work anymore. I calmed her down but I still need to tend to her computer.

It's been a few days and we have been finding random bugs and other issues with the change over to the latest stable.  Bdub Vehicles, Sonja's speeder bike, SM militant turrets and CJ's super traps were the bulk of the latest bugs.  Some coding changes in the game caused some undesired effects.  Nothing "game breaking" but were not working as intended.  Custom vehicles had no sound, and traps had no model when trying to place them.  Also, one custom prefab had an old school zombie closet that is no longer supported in the current stable.  It would trigger a console error when the closet door got broken.  Those have been patched out and is in the latest mods pack.

So I just drag the files to the correct folder and tah dah?

I had been enjoying v1.4 for some time and I had spent a great deal of time refining a lot of my mods for it.  I was not looking forward to v2.0's biome progression system.  And the fact that a handful of those mods would not support the new changes to the game.  On that note.  I will keep v1.4 client files available for download for those who want to keep playing that version.  I will update the first post to include the link for it.

On to the new news.  I have finally updated our server to v2.4 (current stable as of this post).  Biome progression is currently disabled to retain the user ability to explore the entire map freely as it's always been before.  The majority of my mods still work just fine.  But a good number of my mods didn't support the new version.  Some of those broken mods only needed some minor adjustments.  Others would require a complete overhaul.  So, mods like Admin Block, More Containers and EMPY's Super Armor to name a few are no longer available.  Otherwise, the sandbox server will be just like you last remembered it.  There are some new features to existing / updated mods and a few new POI's to explore.  Namely a brand new multi trader base called Trader Cafe.  It's built design wise from the Crack-A-Book Cafe POI as it's model base.  But heavily changed to fit it's new role.  Another new custom POI is named the Smith Residence.  Modeled after my late parents house.  I tried my best to make it as close as possible to as to how I last remembered it.  Well, minus half of the back yard because it simply won't fit for random gen applications.  Another POI is a contribution from LepeR that made a horde fighting base on my server and he just loved the way it turned out.  It kind of looks like the base of a rocket.  So, as to his request, it will remain as an exclusive to the sandbox.

Half-Life 2 Discussion / Re: Half-Life: Cross Product Multiplayer (2025)

So, someone made the old gold source engine run on console.  And made it so console can play with PC.  That's cool, I guess.  Even though it's 20+ years too late.  The games dead.

Not to mention the fact that this game used to run on a literal potato.  A Pentium 200Mhz or equivalent system was recommended.  Now it requires a modern low end gaming system just to run it.

Yeah.  Not a whole lot of AI anything will be happening on our computers.  Well, the AI could leverage your RTX cuda cores.  But it won't be very fast.  I know what you mean though.

Not just a MS account but Windows 11 comes with forced integrated AI.

I miss the days of WIn95/98/2000 when you could still set up your computer with stuff you actually WANTED to use and could easily uninstall bloatware.
