I can't tell what is worse.  The fact that Microsoft has fallen down the AI cash grab rabbit hole.  Or all the AI generated scare tactics and propaganda.

Your Windows 10 Extended Security Updates (ESU) protection has been extended

We understand that moving to a new PC can take time. As part of our ongoing commitment to helping customers stay secure during the transition, the Windows 10 Extended Security Updates (ESU) program for personal devices is being provided an additional year. Coverage will now be available through October 12, 2027.

As a current user enrolled in ESU, you will automatically receive an additional year of protection. No action is required on your end, the extension will be automatic.

And here Dave was pushing me to upgrade to 11 using an install he has that he says does not have any of the things we don't want but is still legit Windows 11. However his is Home and not Pro and I want to stick with Pro because it has things that help with my Dyslexia.

This has been floating around YouTube for a little while now actually.  But it's at no surprise with the costs of computer parts going out of control for months now.  Specifically, graphics cards, memory and SSD's have more than tripled in cost.  Making a simple PC upgrade unreachable by many.
