I have seen a LOT of YouTubers advertising them (some were sponsored by them). I was surprised to see this video once you posted it. Wow!

I am already finding so many search results with some popular search engines use AI. At least with Bing you get a choice as it is obvious it is using it but only on the side so you still get normal results in the main search. Google seems to really be embedding it in especially in image searches that it is hard to find what you want now but instead are getting results AI created.

Geek / Games Discussion / Re: The trouble with and potential dangers of AI

It seems like everyone is gearing up for this AI craze.  Nvidia already has a foothold in the door with its Tensor cores in the RTX series cards.  And they are just going to double down on that in the future.  AMD and Intel will also be following suit.  Microsoft has already announced that they will be having some limited baked in AI support with Windows 11.  And windows 12 is rumored to have full AI support.  Giving that your CPU makes a certain threshold of compute.   As is, even AMD's Ryzen 7000 series and Intel's 14th gen top consumer chips fall short of that mark.  So now everyone is pushing hard to get their next gen tech out the door so they can get ahead of the game.

MS won't be put off by that. Look what they did to get people to leave Windows 7 behind.

And they will do it to Windows 10 users too once Windows 12 comes out.  It's a predictable cycle the MS has done time and time again.

Exactly!

Fixed a small issue with CJ's super tools, Super NailGun.  I noticed that it wasn't displaying a progression tier level.  I guess that was legacy code from A18 or earlier when the nail gun didn't have or need a progression level or mods?  Anyway, it has levels now.

Major repairs for the Steel Polish mod....
Fixed steel polish and box of steel polish not showing up in the chem station craft menu.
Fixed box of steel polish not being craftable at all.
Fixed the icon for box of steel polish.
Fixed the description of steel polish AND box of steel polish.
Adjusted both recipes.
